The white male's great accomplishment in human history was a redistribution of wealth, education, land, etc., based on his fear of others. His order is being dismantled, but because it was built to address his fears, he cannot see it's presence, only its continued necessity, like a nightlight in a child's room.David Petryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07376029180041134687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8264466425852261124.post-50857948686747049022009-09-08T12:43:38.611-07:002009-09-08T12:43:38.611-07:00Yes, education is the corner stone of all attempts...Yes, education is the corner stone of all attempts to empower women the world over so that they may indeed get out of poverty and fight their corner in an intellectual debate.

And no, your intellect is not paltry... not by any stretch of the imagination. For I am not sure people of ill faith (excuse the pun) such as SZG necessarily need be put right with elaborate reasoning. When it comes to demonstrating that men and women (and people of all races and religious persuasions) are equal and thus entitled to an equal share and have access to the same rights, I believe bluntness and implacable logic may be more powerful... and may indeed be what's needed.

Your posts are wonderfully well written and your blog a genuine pleasure to read. Interestingly, one of the things my daughter just did with her college orientation group was to help select microloan recipients through Kiva.org! (P.S. So happy to be able to comment!!)Susan Champlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10048154401015032595noreply@blogger.com
